I love to travel almost as much as I love being an Atlanta family photographer. When I’m hired to shoot a destination photography session, this here professional Atlanta photographer gets VERY EXCITED!
The Baker family enjoys visiting the beach, so I happily traveled to Carolina Beach in May to photograph the Baker’s family photography session on the beautiful North Carolina coast. I encouraged this precious family of four to just enjoy spending time with each other and we had a blast! We got some adorable shots of the kids and the parents playing around under the boardwalk, having a marvelous time.
For several of the photographs I had the Bakers play the game “Red Light, Green Light.” It was a total hoot to see these four running and then halting to a stop whenever I called out “Red Light!” Playing this game allowed me to capture some really authentic photographs. I have to say that I absolutely adore candid organic moments that occur naturally during photography sessions. Forcing smiles and poses on my subjects has never particularly been my shebang… It’s always much more rewarding when we capture real-life interactions. Those type of moments are the ones you’ll hang on your wall and treasure forever.
In addition to placing an order for several small wall prints to create a beautiful collage in their master bedroom, the Bakers also ordered a large 20×30 gallery wrap canvas of the last image in this series. Their fine art canvas now hangs proudly over their living room mantle as an everyday reminder of the carefree morning we spent on the beach goofing around together!
